What forms of payment do you accept, and how does that paypal thingy work?
We handle all payments through paypal. So if you have a paypal account--great, but it's not necessary to complete the transaction. Paypal accepts credit cards and checks through your bank account number---and they handle sales tax for Illinois orders. If you would prefer to send a check, please email us at hello@lafamiliagreen.com to make arrangements.
Is my info safe---what is your privacy policy?
We do not sell or share your info with any outside company or third party. no way. And we never even see your credit card number, because paypal handles all of that.
How do you ship?
Well, we provide free shipping---because we love our customers! And we ship via USPS--first class with confirmation. Please let us know if you have any special shipping requirements.
How fast do you ship orders?
We make everything by hand in our Chicago studio, and we try to ship out web orders within 72 hours of you placing the order. Then shipping takes 1-4 days. You will be notified via email if there is any delay.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
Hopefully this will not happen---but just in case, please report the damage to us within 7 days of receipt of items---we will handle claims on a case by case basis, and we'll get replacements out to you as soon as possible.
Do you send items as gifts?
Sure! Just let us know where and who (or is it whom....) to ship to under the comments section of your order. We will email you the invoice. And we'll make sure it looks really pretty when it arrives.
Do you do custom invitations, stationery, etc.?
Sometimes.....We put most of our time and energy into our greeting cards and journals, but we have done a few fun custom invites. Please email us at hello@lafmailiagreen.com, and we'll talk....
